The First Meeting
Don’t feel bad if you’re not sure where to start or what questions to ask. It’s normal for most people. So, even though we call this phase a meeting, it’s really a process that leads to a home design that we can estimate for you. It may take a few meetings, emails, and phone conversations.
When you call us, we’ll ask you what you’d like to accomplish. For example, if you have a Lot and a home plan already, and you’re requesting an estimate, we’ll orient the meeting toward that goal. If you’re just getting started we’ll organize this meeting to help you decide if you want to move forward with a Custom home.
During this process we’ll introduce ourselves and listen to what you have in mind, and we’ll make appropriate recommendations. Feel free to bring in pictures of homes you like, floor plan books, or anything you think might be important. We’ll also cover any scheduling questions you may have and talk about construction costs and financing.
Most people need time during the process to think things over. You set the pace. At some point we’ll move into the Concept Phase.
